Wannsee Conference
The meeting at which the 'final solution to the Jewish question' was adopted as Nazi policy. The meeting was held on 20 January 1942 in a Berlin suburb called Grossen-Wannsee. The Final Solution would be the extermination of all Jews in Europe. Within weeks, the first gas chambers were constructed in Poland.
